About the Opportunity As the Clinical Services Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Surgical and Rehabilitation Services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while achieving key financial and operational objectives. Working closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in balancing clinical excellence with commercial performance, helping to shape the future direction of the hospital's services. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Governance Lead and support surgical and rehabilitation teams Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and clinical governance frameworks Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement Operational Management Oversee day-to-day operations across surgical and rehabilitation services Optimise theatre utilisation, patient flow, and workforce efficiency Drive service excellence and patient satisfaction outcomes Strategic & Business Leadership Support service growth across orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, and rehabilitation Contribute to business planning and organisational objectives Identify opportunities for innovation and service development Financial & Resource Management Manage budgets, labour costs, and operational performance Drive efficient and sustainable service delivery Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvement strategies People Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop clinical teams Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture Support staff engagement, retention, and professional development About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential Requirements Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Minimum 3 years' experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent leadership role Demonstrated experience across both Surgical and Rehabilitation Services Strong understanding of private hospital operations Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Desirable Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Health Management, Leadership, or a related discipline Experience in financial management, budgeting, and operational planning Proven ability to lead service improvement and organisational change initiatives What's on Offer?
